HOW TO INCREASE SALES BY USING THE PHOTO APP ON YOUR PHONE!!
I call this recruiting technique:
‘STORIES IN YOUR POCKET.”
The best way to convert leads into sales is to tell stories.
We live in a visual society. Potential business builders also want to know that they are capable of achieving success in the business you are introducing them to. So, showing them a visual of a successful team mate and accompanying that visual with a story is a great way to paint a picture as to the possibilities of your business opportunity to interested prospects.
So, I wanted to show you how to keep stories in your pocket by using the photo app on your phone.
Both Androids and iPhones have a photo app where you can create sub folders. For this illustration, I am using the iPhoto App on the iPhone.
Take time to create folders for your pictures. I have three folders:
You create folders simply by going into the photo app and hitting the plus (+) button and naming a folder.
SUCCESS STORIES – photos of team members or leaders in your company. Keep pictures of them or with them in that folder
PRODUCT STORIES – I am in the Health and Wellness Sector. I tend to keep weight loss photos in that folder. Energy or muscle photos on that app.
PRODUCT PHOTOS – show photos and tell stories of the products and different options for your prospect.
(*some companies also have specific APPS with additional media to utilize, but I still recommend keeping Stories in Your Pocket so you can personalize the people you feature in your app)
1. GO TO YOUR PHOTO APP.
2. CREATE ALBUMS
3. CUE UP A PHOTO
WHEN YOU CUE UP A PHOTO TELL THE STORY STARTING WITH: (“YOU REMIND ME OF…”)
When I meet someone I ask questions and listen to their story.
So, let’s say I meet a person and they tell me they are an exhausted Mom of 3 kids under the age of 4 working a traditional 9-5 job in banking.
I would then talk about my friend Jessica, who started a business with our company and also was a tired mom who just wanted to be with her kids. She was busy in corporate America working a traditional 9-5 job. She had a huge heart and loved our products and when she started sharing with other stressed-out Moms, her business grew.
Now she works from home and in fact is making 1 million a year.
4. TELL THE STORY
“YOU REMIND ME OF MY FRIEND CAROL ELIZABETH“
I recently ran into an amazing woman who reminded me of my friend Carol. She was an exhausted single mom of 2. She told me that she had just let herself go do to the stress of her divorce and uncertainty of her ability to take care of her kids.
She lost all hope.
I pulled out my phone after listening to her for about 15 minutes and said,
“You remind me of my friend Carol. You can totally make your way out of this season in your life. My friend not only lost weight but developed a brand in fitness and using our nutrition program also has a thriving online business. She has created several interconnected businesses and even has won titles in figure competitions. You would be great at what I do and can find your way to a place of success and balance.”
People need to relate to someone and so many people are visual. These ‘stories in your pocket’ are a huge and powerful way to connect with potential prospects who need you to paint a picture for them. They want to see the possibilities of becoming successful. When they see people similar to themselves, they develop hope. I have had many people say ‘yes’ to my business opportunity or products after looking at a photo that I have used while sharing the ‘story in my pocket.’
Try this technique in telling stories by using your phone app.
It will help you to connect with people on the fly when you are out on the field, running errands, shopping or picking up kids from school.
HERE’s TO YOUR SUCCESS!
